Over the weekend I replaced my old Linksys router with a new Linksys
router. This was the first time that I've ever used a setup CD to
configure one. At one step it asked me to plug in the Internet cable. It
couldn't detect the Internet but yet it worked fine from every PC in the
house. I decided to abandon the CD. It was late so I went to bed rather
than telnet into it to see if I could configure it the way that I used to
with the old one. Maybe tonight. It also put one of those icons in the
tray. I doubt that my home network needs constant monitoring so I'll
probably kill that too.
