Sure ... a VMWare instance (regardless of what OS it's hosting) is just
another machine (for all intents & purposes). It's assigned it's own IP
(depending on how you configure networking).

Bet that makes the screen real estate look rather interesting also.

When I'm using VMWare, I usually have two (or more) displays available
... so I just move the VMWare app to one of the other displays and
maximize it.

The weirdness comes when your caps lock, num lock, and scroll lock
lights switch on & off as you move between the vmware instance and your
hosting OS.
