I suggest you take a look at Puppy Linux or Damn Small Linux.
I've got both these distro's running from the CD on a friend's laptop with
only 32MB Ram.
Do be prepared to spend a lot of time...

[PCTECH] HELP! Linux Problems
I have a Fedora 2 linux computer that I need to get some information off
of.
The problem is that it is a P133 with 128 MB of RAM and I can't get it to
boot into linux anymore. I have tried some of the most popular live CDs
(Knoppix, Ubuntu, and Fedora live) and can't get anything working. Any
ideas? I am building a replacement box and want to get at some of the
config
files that I can't find anymore.
