I'm stumped, but thats not news.

One of the PCs here just started refusing to connect to the Internet. So far I have figured out that I can telnet anywhere and ping anywhere. I have tried "Repair" on the LAN connection, and it completes just fine. I also used Internet Explorer, under Tools, to diagnose the connection. It says that HPPT and FTP ports are shut off; look at the firewall settings. I looked at the settings and saw nothing that looked significant to me. I shut off the firewall entirely. Nothing changed.

Any ideas would be most welcome.
