Jeff, you understand that in that registry directory, you will not see the
actual program name, right? Instead, you see a unique ID generated by
Windows when the program was installed.

If you click on those keys, however, you can see what program it goes to and
modify it's change/remove button there.

Of course you are always free to reinstall Windows, but you don't absolutely
have to if all you want to do is to remove some programs.
