A truly amazing thing, but not unique to VMware. Xen Enterprise has XenMotion. Also known as "live migration", see Features table...

I find it a bit amusing that given Microsoft's stance on open source, that Xen's commercial side is owned by Citrix which you may know is owned by Microsoft.
