Jeff,

I'm using TB and Lightning at home, but only use the calendaring portion
in combination with my Google calendar.

Updates made in TB show up on the web immediately, and vice versa.

That said, I must point out that sometimes it (Lightning) reminds me of
events that are far in the past or have been deleted from Google.

This could of course be caused by a bug in the Google calendar plugin.

I haven't used it with a local calendar, as I want to be able to
view/update my calendar on both PC's at home, and at work.

Subject
[PCTECH] Thunderbird Lightning

All,

I have been using Outlook for email & PIM. Have been thinking of moving
to
Thunderbird for some time - I heard there was a calendaring/todo/etc addon
coming that would make Thunderbird a full PIM.

Last night I discovered it exists: Lightning. Any of you Thunderbird
users
using it? Issues?

I could see our company abandoning MS Office altogether and replacing with
OpenOffice & Thunderbird.
