restarts wireless connections in a misguides attempt to check for a

stops this service to prevent this annoying behavior."

Good find, Bill! In my prior post I mentioned that I disabled the
ThinkVantage stuff, and I'm still going good, but I had noticed, very
infrequently, that my network would disconnect on occasion (both the old and
new laptops). What was odd was that the signal is almost always "Extremely
Good", and I couldn't imagine how such a good signal could drop to the point
that it disconnects. This might explain it, although I am stumped as to why
Windoze would do such a thing. I mean, it knows that there's a connection,
it surely can detect activity, what the h*ll are they thinking?

Also interesting that Wizmo was last enhanced in 2002 before adding the
wanlock and wanopen options a few weeks ago.
