Hmmm... I've done that (controlled someone else's PC with GotoMyPC) and
it seemed fairly painless. True, they had to click some links on their
end to get the process started, but it wasn't a big deal.
Though, I only did it once. I was too cheap to pay the subscription
fee! So now I use VNC.
However, I think your idea of setting up an FTP server (or better yet,
an SSH server) is a great one. You could simply sign on to their PC and
then do the file transfer for them. Completely painless for them.
It kinda surprises me that you (meaning Dilgard Foods) don't already
have an FTP, SFTP or HTTP server that you could just throw the files on.
I know I couldn't live without that sort of functionality.
