How about online backup?

1- Carbonite - http://www.carbonite.com/ - $50/yr for essentially
unlimited storage.

2- Amazon S3 online storage + JungleDisk software -
http://www.jungledisk.com/ - $20 for the software plus small monthly
changes.

Both solutions are inexpensive, automatic, and leave nothing to lug
around, get lost, fail, etc.
