Are you running OneCare? I've had problems where for some reason my primary
system (running Vista) sometimes forgets that it is at home and goes into
remote/public mode. When that happens, I cant do much till I reset it.
Check firewall settings.

There seems to be a deeper problem. Both computers are in the same subnet,
but the XP box can't ping the Vista Laptop. Vista can ping the XP box just
fine.

The network path was not found.

The only other PC is a Vista Home Premium Laptop on Wireless. Any ideas
on
where I can start? Both PCs have the Firewall turned off.
