Hmm, okay. I've seen a few customers that wanted to run WDS on early
P4 machines with 512MB of RAM, and there it is absolutely no fun.
Never had any performance issues on newer machines. Also, WDS4
improved performance on Vista by a rather larger margin.

Looking into WUS Server now - thanks Lukas. We are a smaller company and
I don't have auto update turned on anyway. Just missed it when doing
some of the updates.

A WSUS Server is always a good idea, no matter how small your company
is. If you do not have any Windows Servers yet, and you're a small
company, look into SBS 2008
