I strongly disagree with you. Defense in Depth. An AV Software will
never be as good as a human with a clue. If you have people at work
that need to use the Internet, make sure they're thoroughly educated
in what they are doing, and making the right decisions. This will
ensure fewer security problems for you.

The only other approach is to completely block all internet access,
and filter any and all executable attachments to email. Or even
better, disallow external mails. Which works just as well, but in many
cases is a no go.
