Still gathering information from the vendor on how they'll use it, but
basically they have a package, running on Windows I believe, that needs to
export all this data into their own database system. I don't know what that
system might be yet.

I'll know more, hopefully later on today.

I may be making this into a much bigger problem than it is.

A bit tricky as a CSV file is a plain text file, so you will need to do
some encoding anyway.
