Before you do the zip, do an XCOPY with /S to a different directory. /S
tells it to copy sub directories except empty ones. If you DID want the
empty ones, /E will do that.

Folks:

I'm trying to use winzip 9 to unzip some files ... the original directory
that I zipped up contained a number of empty sub-directories.

The zip contains only 11 files in various subdirectories ... but when I
unzip it, the entire directory structure is being restored (most of these
subdirectories are empty).

Anyone know how I can stop winzip from storing the full directory
structure?
