That's the problem - trying to us Vista!! ;^)

I am running XP Pro so my testing may not be of any help. What add
on's do you have installed?

Yes, I've got add on's. Thats the reason I was using FF!
I am running Vista Ultimate with a AMD Quad core processor and 3 gig of
memory.

I am in Gmail all day every day both at home and at work in FF. I
don't ever crash. Do you have any add-on installed? Sometimes it
seems that Gmail uses too much CPU on my old home laptop, and I close
it down for a short time while doing something else CPU intensive.
But it has been at least 60 days since the last crash.

You should give Chrome a try. One neat feature that I really like is
you
can drag a tab into a new window. Especialy nice with dual monitors.
The
other think I like about Chrome is that it is very clean. Pretty much
a minimalist approach to browsing. Kind of like an iPod Shuffle vs an
iTouch.
The two main sites I use are gmail and then the designer for my
eCommerce
site (Still tweaking, but it is up and ready and capable of taking
orders:
www.bjsdiscountsoftware.com ). Gmail does crash it daily. But the
designer
crashes it hourly (or more). MSIE or Chrome dont ever crash it. Also
seems
to be associated with the number of open windows and tabs.

But a few sites don't work with Chrome. So I tried Firefox. Is it
better
than MSIE? Probably equal. But, it is one of the most unstable
applications I've used in a long time!

Wow. I use Firefox constantly -- I probably use it more than 16
hours a
day. I can't even remember the last time it crashed. Do you really
have a lot of problems with it crashing???

MSIE -- it works, but it's interface is awkward, and it has major
security problems. I use it when I absolutely must, which is rare.

I've used Opera, and it's nice -- from a usability standpoint, I'd
say
it's equal to FF. But it has more problems with site compatibility
than
FF does, so I don't use it.

Safari is okay, too... My feelings about it are pretty close to my
feelings about Opera. It has more compatibility issues than FF, so
why
use it?

I haven't tried Chrome.
