The average Windows shop runs all their users with Administrator privileges and lets them execute random code no matter where they've got it from - this makes sense in a home context, but doing it like this in a company is a recipe for disaster.

Wait a minute, why would it make sense in a home context?! Because you can't expect a home user to know how to jump through all the hoops to secure his system properly against Windows OS flaws? I agree that Windows shops should know their security, but I object to the idea of throwing out an OS that is guaranteed to cause problems for home users just because they don't know better.

One of my would've could've lessons would have been to recommend OS2 instead of NT way back when...
