I'm in the process of getting up to speed in using the Web-as-GUI
technology, PHP, dot-Net, Java.
Eric Rudolph has a link on his web site with him interviewing with some
brokerage and investors about Open Source when it was a new thing and
Wall Street was hopping on board, and it's very interesting and
revealing. He also includes some links to some leaked internal Microsoft
memos on the subject.. ;)
Just when they seem to be "opening up" they expose their innermost
parts... Maybe they were even baited.
But that said, I am hesitant to favor cloud computing, trusting an
external infrastructure with private data... Don't care what Larry
Ellison says..
