Sorry for being late to this thread; I've been busy.

I recommend that you open a Gmail account for all midrange.com lists.  Gmail
does a nearly perfect job keeping the threads together and in the proper
sequence.  I do not use an email client (like Thunderbird) for this
particular Gmail account; I just use Gmail's web interface.
