I was just curious as to how Windows knows or decides, which one to use.

Different SSID's.

What do you mean the one that matches the SSID?

Your SSID is configured on the PC to match that of the router/access
point. If each router has a different SSID then by switching to the
different SSID on the PC you are effectively selecting which internet
connection you are using.

Are you trying to compare the throughput on each connection or just seeing
if you can connect simultaneously?
