No, i don't think much of Google Apps in a corporate setting -
especially when used with Outlook, like in your case.

The issue here is that Google Apps is no replacement yet, since it
does not even remotely provide the same functionality as Exchange.
When you still have to worry if everything on the client machines
themselves is backed up, why use a groupware? It could be a simple
IMAP server from your ISP, and you'd still have to think about the
same issues.

Don't get me wrong, i'm using Google Apps for my own domain, and it
works great (when it works, that is). But i'd never consider
recommending it to a company.
