This is precisely why I am evaluating in doing this move. I love FIOS and
I have been also a customer or 2 yrs now. I can't believe that they
incremented $20.00 a month for a package that have even 10 less channels
now! They only incremented the bandwidth to 25/25 so I believe that they
"took from here to put over there" kind of thing? I had a reduction of
$15.00, after talking like for an hour, and this will last only for a
year. Then I would need to fight with them again... we will see if we get
there...
We have additional local options but the main competition, Bright House /
Roadrunner, basically has the same package and internet is a little bit
more expensive. Knowing that the technology is moving so fast I wanted to
ask the question to the list to know which options are good and available
out there. I am really looking for an option that I can see all the
movies I want, regardless of they release date. I do not want to be
limited by a small library of movies. In addition, I need to have local
TV programs, news, etc.
I am still reading all your great options guys and you are forcing me to
do my homework! :o) Any more recommendations and advises are welcome.

I switched to FIOS almost 2 years ago. I love it! The only problem is
that my contract is up in Aug and I've heard from others that their new
prices are quite a bit higher that what I'm currently paying. I'm
planning on playing them off Comcast to see how low they'll go.
