I have also made animated gif's with the PaintShop Pro utility. It's not
hard. From a performance standpoint you should try to keep the size of
each image down. As you build the animated gif file the size will add up
from each image. With broadband speeds it may not be as big of an issue
as it was in the dial-up days but it could detract from the look if it
takes the animated image longer to load than the rest of the page.
