I use PaintShop Pro V8 right now. Copyright 2003.I believe that for the casual user Gimp can do the same as PhotoShop, and Inkscape the same as Illustrator. For reasons I do not understand, professionals need more than what they provide.
My use isn't casual really. But Photo Shop is EXPENSIVE. And one thing you
learn as a small business is that money is no longer an Abstract Concept. It
is out of my back pocket.
