Orwell (the author) actually would appreciate the halting & prosecution of 
those that trade in counterfeit or trademark/copyright goods. Almost 100% 
(not quite) of the sites were foreign registrations to sell counterfeit 
products. US Customs (part of DHS) has the responsibility to do this, & they 
did it with a proper federal court order. If they didn't do their job - you 
would complain about that too.
There is a flurry of blogs and made up news about this already.
Look at the actual list of sites & you will see a pattern: (dvdcollects.com. 
dvdorderonline.com, dvdsuperdeal.com, jerseyclubhouse.com, 
2009jersey.com,-see dslreports.com article w/list of sites). The one site 
that is in a different pattern is torrent-finder.com and that arguement 
belongs on the non-tech forum.
It is funny that zdnet-australia described it as taking down "pirate" sites 
selling fake goods. zdnet-usa wrote an article titled "...web censorship" 
(while also praising the takedown of sites selling fake goods).
Let's not head for the bunker yet...
