I was looking at this for a friend recently. I came away leaning towards
Kindle as the devices get better battery life (weeks v. days/hours) and your
content is available on multiple platforms. The Nook may handle
multiplatform but I didn't see anything about it when I was looking
(admittedly I wasn't all that thorough).
