No - it was plenty precise enough. I use the Remote Desktop Client to access a Windows PC on the other side of my office and also to connect to remote PCs. As you note I don't need to access the virtual machine.

The Microsoft Remote Desktop _Client_ that I use is Mac native - and works just fine.
