I would suggest contacting AT&T about it ... sounds like they have a cert problem.

Of course my personal recommendation would be to drop the ISP mail service entirely and get your own domain.

Domain's are so cheap and email service is free or very cheap, it's kind of a no-brainer.

GoDaddy for domains & Google apps for email.
