Oh, and Windows authentication in a domain IS using Kerberos - it's an implementation of Kerberos, just as Network Authentication Services is on the iSeries.

FWIW: I don't think it's a good idea (or even considered reasonable practices) for an application to be able to retrieve a users password based on a connection.
