We have a weird one with an aircard. An employee with a laptop and a
Sprint aircard visits customers, training them in our online ordering.
She has the aircard because some customers don't have high speed
internet at work, but do have it at home. She can go to their place
of business (a restaurant) and train them, then they place their
orders from home.
Our online ordering website uses an activeX, meaning it requires
Internet Explorer. The day before yesterday, our online ordering
website quit working with her aircard (Meaning it won't display.
Never asks for userid and password. IE just churns saying it's
looking for a solution to the problem and finally fails). But ONLY
quit working when used by the aircard. If used via wireless or
hardwired, it still works fine.
After a bunch of fiddling around, I found it was IE9! I removed IE9,
reverting automagically back to IE8, and all is well.
SWAGS, anyone?
