Vern,

Once you have the install media, yes you just run it. You should be administrator or equivalent.

One note. I created a directory on my C: drive called Utilities (c:/utilities)

I always install my software there to avoid some of the issues with the Win7 security models. That also keeps the programs directories from getting too polluted. Kinda like using /usr/local or /opt in a Unix environment.

I have managed to feel very dumb trying to install Access for i on V7.
I've seen some kind of document with various things to do, to get this
install done. This was on the Access site - is it actually as simple as
just running the installer from a v7 machine, as it always has been?

Do I need to run it as admin on my Win7 Ultimate laptop?

Thx
Vern
