Roger,

Thanks. Took a couple of tries (klutzy fingers), but finally got it.

Hi Jerry. What I've done is to modify the .DOT template directly. You
need to find it first - usually in "C:\Documents and settings\<user
name>\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates" but you may need to search for
Normal.Dot Open it, make the changes, then save it. Hope that helps. >

Subject: [PCTECH] Word Formatting

I inherited a PC which has Word 2007 installed. Every time I use it,
it wants to space 10 pts after each paragraph. Even if I change it to
0 and select "Default.", which asks me if I want this change to affect
all documents based upon the NORMAL template, the next document still
wants to space 10 pts between paragraphs.

I checked the Word options and in the Advanced tab, the default
paragraph style is Normal.

How can I set the paragraph spacing permanently to 0?

Thanks.
