Remote systems are no problem - that can be done with a MONMSG on a PING
on the i. Monitoring a service is where it gets tricky. For example I
have WAS A and WAS B. If I use an IP spreader and it goes to which ever
one returns a good ping that's not good enough - the system could return a
ping but WAS might be down on that server.
