Boy, don't I wish it had a floppy drive. When I was cleaning out my office
before I retired, I found five [count 'em - five] *unopened* boxes of 3 1/2"
diskettes. Couldn't give those puppies away.
I agree as regards Norton. I only got it because, when I signed up for
Comcast, it was "free" and the PC didn't have A-V or firewall. Back in the
day (PC-DOS days, I really am an old fart), I used to use IBM's A-V because
it was, in my opinion state-of-the-art. But I guess they found it too much
trouble and sold out to, of all people, Norton.
I'm guessing (memory being what it is - pun intended, or whatever), that it
is 4 years old. It was a "gift" from a former employer and, being cheap as
well as old, I'll keep it. But I'm leaning toward your suggestion about
Norton. Used to use Trend Micro without any problems.
