When you are in Daylight Savings Time Windows displays the wrong UTC. For
example in EST (Eastern Standard Time) we would be UTC -5. But in EDT
(Eastern Daylight Time) we are UTC -4. IBM i gets this right. QUTCOFFSET
gets adjusted automatically during the time change. We have a
multiplatform WAS based product we're using that we part of it on IBM i
and part on Windows. They cannot sync because of this. The time is too
far off on the Windows based box for the UTC displayed.
Is there some alternative way to query the UTC on Windows which will
display the correct UTC?
