We have a VM with iSeries Access installed. On this VM, we have a green screen session that runs a macro which signs on to the i and cleans up abended batches.

This macro runs (loops) all day from whenever I start it until midnight. I have been able to end it at midnight successfully from Task Scheduler. I would like to be able to start it at 6:00 AM but cannot get it to work.

I have tried to launch it from Task Scheduler using the same information contained on the shortcut properties that I use to launch it manually with no success:

"C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Emulator\pcsws.exe" "C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Emulator\Private\abend.WS"

I have also created a .BAT file that, when I click on it, launches the green screen session but will not launch the green screen session from Task Manager. The .BAT file is a one-liner that has the same info as the shortcut properties.

I can tell from running the emulation session interactively that PCSCM.EXE and PCSWS.EXE have to be running. Both of these are launched when the Task Scheduler fires but they only sit and do nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas regarding how I might get this to work?
