If it is free why not?

I'm a Mac user so I only need it to deal with files sent by others (who have not yet seen the light) so I don't use it heavily. But I have been using it for about 6 months with no issues except for my on-going hatred of Powerpoint and Word. For me it makes sense because I only need it when MS introduce some new feature that my Mac software can't yet handle so keeping up-to-date without spending a bunch of $ every year or two makes sense and I now have a budgeted annual amount that covers me.

Anyone have an experience with Microsoft Office 365, pro or con?

I'm considering it for a new Win 8.1 church laptop which is mainly used
for PowerPoint presentations and Internet access, Word occasionally.

Since we are a registered charity, it looks like Microsoft will provide
Office 365 free:
