Folks:

Does anyone know if its possible to remove the default route for a 2nd NIC in Windows?

I have wired & wireless NIC's in my laptop ... I want to route some traffic over the wireless NIC but everything else over the wired NIC.

For some reason, when I go to internal systems, the remote system thinks I'm coming from an external IP and employs higher security measures (2FA).

I've tried adjusting the routing metric on the NIC ... but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

The odd thing is ... when check my external IP, it shows the same thing regardless of if I have the wireless nic active or not.

I'm not sure what could be causing the internal systems to be thinking I'm on an external connection.

Any advice?

Thanks!

david
