I have been using the free join.me But it is more for you to share your screen.

The other one we use is TeamViewer. Also free but to control someone else's computer, they have to install the program.

I do not know of any way of sharing your computer without installing some sort of remote control software.

RDP if opened up, can be used but requires a connection via MPLS or VPN between networks and a logon to the remote computer. The screen is not shared but you take fully control of the remote computer.

Subject: [PCTECH] Best software for remote windows support

All,

What software do you use for remote Windows support? ie, a user 50 miles
away is having a problem and you need to sign on and take control and
figure stuff out.

Is there a decent one that's not too expensive and doesn't require software
installed on the remote PC?

Thanks.
