Yeah an iPad or Android Tablet with a keyboard might be good.

I've actually hooked up a keyboard and mouse to an Android table before and it worked. (Had a usb on it)

Now if Apple could provide that I could use my iPad for lots of my daily stuff.

subject: Re: [PCTECH] Chromebooks

I recently "converted" a fiend from using a Windows PC (which he was forever screwing up) to a Chromebook. He's as computer illiterate as you can get and it has worked well for him.

Printing was a bit of a challenge to set up at first - not all printers will work with it although the number grows each day it seems. But in a corporate environment that should not be too big a challenge unless they need to use home printers. Basically there are no (few?) directly connectable printers - you effectively use Google print as the spooler. It occurs to me that this might present problems in hotels where they usually block direct device to device communication.

Overall I would heartily recommend it as a solution for computer illiterate workforces - although personally I'd also look at the iPad/tablet option too rather than just Chromebooks.
