I have a vendor package which exports into an xml file.
I can open that xml file in Excel.
In the vendor package they have a last login as: 5/25/2018 9:22am
In the xml export that appears as 1527254562427 or 1.51604E+12 depending on how you look at it.
How do I convert that back into something my eyes can understand?

You asked this question in January 2019, and got an answer (actually,
a couple of answers):

I would like to expand a little upon the pat explanation "it's a Unix
timestamp" though.

Strictly speaking, the number you're seeing has 3 implied decimal
places, if it's a real Unix timestamp. That is, the actual Unix
timestamp would be 1527254562.427.
