I know there is some software out there that will do this for you. You often recieve information cards with IBM hardware/software purchases, and I remember one of these cards with our AS/400 which had paging software, but I don't remember what it was. All I can suggest is you check the internet, or hope someone reads this and still has that stack of information cards. You could call IBM, they may have something. ---------- > From: Simon Redmond <prot@globalnet.co.uk> > To: RPG400-L@midrange.com > Subject: Setting up a pager > Date: Tuesday, June 10, 1997 2:08 AM > > Hi all, > > The other day my manager whilst walking past the mess I call a desk, dumped > a new pager on my desk and said 'Here set this up so I get a message when > there is a problem with over night processing'. > As far as I can tell I'm to set the pager up so that it sends coded numeric > messages when some of the more crucial batch jobs bomb out overnight.
