User Activity Log

Does anyone have a method for auditing their AS/400 for user activity
measured in wall clock time, or even processor if possible?

The best methods we could come up with were:
        1) Dump & analyze QHIST log.
        2) Create a CLP and include as initial program and write record to
physical file when logged on & off.
