Why is the answer 8?  Cos dems the rules.  If you multiply a field with 3
decimal places by one with 5 the result requires 8 decimal places - i.e. the sum
of the number of places.  Try multiplying 11.11 by 22.222 on your pocket
calculator and you'll see that it agrees with this principal.
