Hi,
I am sorry, it was vague. I posted it in a hurry.
What I wanted to know is, are there any vendor supplied GUI based report tools
that can be used during application development, so that users can customise
their reports?

Perhaps Query/400?

As list owner, I have to ask that people do a LITTLE of their own research
on questions prior to posting a question. It's kinda silly to be asking
questions such as this when all it would take is a peek at a high-level
overview document of the AS/400.
