Brad,

In most cases I have found everything that is required to run Code/400
is already on the AS/400. The one exception is a TCP/IP PTF. I believe
you need client access and some other stuff if you are not using English or
are using an SNA connection.

Here is what IBM says is required for different versions:

     ADTS (SEU, RLU, etc.)
     5763-PW1 for V3.1 and V3.2
     5716-PW1 for V3.7 and V4.1
     5769-PW1 for V4.2 and up

ADTS C/S (to be renamed as mentioned above)
     5763-CL1 for V3.1
     5763-CL3 for V3.2
     5716-CL3 for V3.7 and V4.1
     5769-CL3 for V4.2 and up

     TCP/IP File Server Support
     5798-TAA for V3.1 and V3.2
     5798-TAZ for V3.7 and up

Do you need something on the AS/400 for Code/400 to work? Can you just get
Code/400 without VARPG?

I would love to have an editor that I can use to keep the code on my
machine. (Freeware that is.)
