Keshav,

>>We use a HP Laserjet /Deskjet printer connected to the AS400.
Clients are connected to the AS400 using Client Access.
The printouts normally contain simple text &occasionally graphics. For
example a printout of a ship-to card with different fonts & letter size.
I understand this is usually done using ICF files.I got this information in
a manual.(RCVDTA/SNDDTA/SNDFLD/RCVFLD).It could not be clearly understood as
nothing in detail was mentioned.
Has anybody tried this out.<<

You still have not asked a question. Is it a Laserjet or a Deskjet? I've seen
Laserjets used in many AS/400 shops. How is yours "attached" to the AS/400?
Through a PC network? Through Client Access? Are you printing anything from
the AS/400 onto the Laserjet now?

I am not a hardware guru like some on the MIDRANGE-L list are and I'm not sure
that anyone in this RPG400-L list is able to answer your "question". You would
be much better off moving your question to the MIDRANGE-L list; your chances of
getting an answer will be multitudes better. And, in the process, you'll help
keep the RPG400-L list more targeted to posting RPG-specific queries.
