Hello!  I'm a student trying to work on some homework problems during the Christmas break.  The only problem is that the AS400 at the school is DOWN and no one is there to bring it back up.

I've used MS Word to create the various F, I, D, C, and O rulers but programming using Word isn't exactly easy and obviously gives me no context sensitive help.  Is there a free or very cheap program that will help me write the source code on a PC so that I can be a bit ahead of the game when the AS400 comes back up?

Thanks in advance!   Bob Foster  bfoster@bendcable.com
