RE: *SCRBAR in DDS

I'm guessing the user's rollkeys are reversed in his user profile.  See if changing that fixes it. 

 

I wanted to mention the issue to someone at IBM, as it seems to me to be a problem in the keyword's implementation, but there's no responsive address I can find.

We are having trouble with using the scroll bar in a subfile in a 'green screen' program.  We have included the keyword *SCRBAR for SFLEND as in the example below.  Aside from that, we have used no additional programming logic to control the subfile.

      A  70                                  SFLDSP                     
      A  70                                  SFLDSPCTL                  
      A  71                                  SFLCLR                     
      A  90                                  SFLEND(*SCRBAR *SCRBAR)    
The problem is that if we move down record by record using the scroll bar, or if we click in the scroll bar itself to page down, it pretty much ignores the scroll, and selects the record from the first subfile page (relative to the position of the cursor/changed record).  (It also requires two clicks to move the page down, if that helps.)

 

If we 'grab' the bar and move it with the mouse, it seems to work OK.

 

Any ideas?
