Just a comment... We here use S/36 Emulation on the AS/400. The main reason we did this, in my understanding as this happened a LONG time before I got here, was to be able to use the OCL unchanged. I agree, though, that if you get around using the emulation, you should, as it is a added level you need to think about. But, there are advantages to it also. OCL can use native commands inside without much difficulty. So in one OCL program you can have your OCL commands, recognized by the // that proceeds them, and native also. I think it all depends on how many OCL files you would have to convert to native CL, and what time frame you are looking at. But, you definitely want to get away from OCL and use CLP as soon as you can.
